Ponderer is our second barrel-aged release.
It’s a heavy imperial stout aged in a selection of Scottish whisky barrels for 20 months. Three of the best barrels were selected for their contrasting characteristics, creating a blend championing intense aromas of Liquorice, Blackberry and Blackcurrant – with rich chocolate and peated whisky coming into play as the beer warms.
Perfect for drinking now, or cellaring the bottle for a rainy day.
